In common with many villages, life centres around the church, the village hall and the pub. These are the focal points for the community.
The parish church is St John the Baptist. It dates from the 1300's.
The Village Hall used to be the school and is now used regularly by numerous groups.
The village pub is The White Horse. Under new ownership, it is a delightful place to drink, eat and stay.
Surrounding all of this is some wonderful countryside. We shall not claim it to be the best in Suffolk, but we think that it is as good as any.
